Experience
With over 12 years of experience in therapeutic practice, Tania has worked across a range of settings, including community mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, disability services and education. She has supported adolescents, adults and families through a diverse range of life experiences, from relationship and identity challenges to trauma, health concerns and major life transitions. Tania takes a collaborative, client-centred approach, valuing the unique insights and strengths each person brings to their own journey. She has extensive experience working within multidisciplinary teams and complex systems. She is also skilled at adapting her practice to suit the diverse needs, identities and contexts of the people she works with. Her work is grounded in deep respect for lived experience, cultural diversity and inclusive care.
Approach
Tania offers a safe, inclusive and collaborative therapeutic space where individuals and couples can explore intimacy, communication and relational wellbeing. She believes our relationships – with ourselves and others – are central to overall health. And she supports clients to explore connection, desire, identity and emotional patterns with care and curiosity.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment-focused theory and draws on modalities such as:
- Schema Therapy,
- Internal Family Systems (IFS),
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She draws on each individual’s strengths to foster empowerment and build capacity as a pathway to self-determination. Her work is trauma-informed and culturally competent, with a strong understanding of the intersectional social factors that shape wellbeing. Tania offers an affirming space for people of all genders, sexualities and relationship structures. Whether supporting clients through challenges in sexual health, relationship conflict or healing from trauma, she brings empathy, curiosity and a genuine commitment to supporting people build more authentic, connected lives.
