Approach
Emma is dedicated to creating a non-judgemental, affirming space for clients to heal from difficult experiences and develop a deeper understanding of their inner world. She understands how impactful meeting your true self really is. Her aim is to help clients learn how to meet themselves, develop strong self care skills, and live in alignment with who they truly are.
She recognises that everyone comes into therapy at different stages of life and she is ready to meet her clients where they are. Using a trauma-informed lens allows her to collaborate with clients to decide on the approach, pacing, and frequency of sessions. She weaves together a variety of trauma-informed modalities, both talk and somatic approaches, to support and empower her clients. She focuses on building safety in the body before moving into deeper emotional work. This foundation of safety allows for honest exploration and deeper healing as sessions progress. Ultimately, Emma hopes to empower her clients to live authentically.
